Málþing um starfsendurhæfingu

Breaking the Barriers – New Thoughts in Organizing Vocational Rehabilitation and Other Interventions

Dagana 14. og 15. apríl stendur félagsmálaráðuneytið fyrir málþingi um starfsendurhæfingu, í samvinnu við heilbrigðis- og tryggingamálaráðuneytið og tryggingastofnun ríkisins. Málþingið ber yfirskriftina Breaking the Barriers – New Thoughts in Organizing Vocational Rehabilitation and Other Interventions og er hluti af norrænu samstarfsverkefni sem styrkt er af Norrænu ráðherranefndinni. Málþingið verður haldið á Hótel Loftleiðum og hefst kl. 09:00 fimmtudaginn 14. apríl.

Árni Magnússon félagsmálaráðherra opnar málþingið og skiptist dagskráin í tvo megin þætti. Fyrri daginn verður áhersla á stöðu starfsendurhæfingu í dag og mun fulltrúar frá norrænu löndunum kynnt hana fyrir þátttakendum. Síðari daginn fer fram hópavinna þar sem unnið er útfrá fjórum meginþemum.

Fundarstjórar eru Þór Þórarinsson, félagsmálaráðuneytið og Guðrún Sigurjónsdóttir, heilbrigðis- og tryggingamálaráðuneytið. Málþinginu lýkur kl. 16:00, föstudaginn 15. apríl með ávarpi Jóns Kristjánssonar, heilbrigðis- og tryggingamálaráðherra.

THEME 1: The current development models- analyzing what works and what does not, what pros and cons can be seen and what good practices can be identified from each country.

THEME 2: Central level and administrative levels: how much are the needed seamless services systems reflected in the central and administrative discourse?

THEME 3: Risks of benefits, (or combinations of benefits) which create negative side effects, leading to barriers for people with disabilities from entering or staying in the labour market.

THEME 4: Internal factors at workplaces hindering people with disabilities from working. Are the problems related to the individual, the working environment or attitudes of colleagues?


Groups will choose reporters to summarize the themes discussed on day two
