Ambassador Visits Dalian to Promote Marine and Fisheries Cooperation

Ambassador Thorir Ibsen visited Dalian on July 8 and witnessed the signing ceremony on cooperation between Dalian Ocean University and the Icelandic GRO Fisheries Training Program.  Before the signing ceremony, he met with Mr. Chen Shaowang, Mayor of Dalian, where both sides expressed the interest in expanding cooperation between Dalian and Iceland on various fields.  Ambassador Ibsen also visited the fish farming facility of Dalian Ocean University and hed meeting with the university leaders and teachers about further cooperation between the University and GRO Fisheries Training Program and relevant Icelandic institutions and companies.
