5. september 2014: Fjölskyldustefnur á Norðurlöndunum og velferð barna
- Upptökur frá ráðstefnu um velferð barna og fjölskyldna -
Ráðstefnan er hluti af dagskrá vegna formennsku Íslands í Norrænu ráðherranefndinni 2014 og er markmið hennar að varpa ljósi á sögulega þróun í málaflokknum og samanburður við Norðurlönd. Farið er yfir þætti sem miða að því að auka velferð barna og barnafjölskyldna og helstu viðfangsefni í málefnum fjölskyldunnar sem stjórnvöld á Norðurlöndunum hafa staðið frammi fyrir og viðbrögð við þeim. Fjallað verður um forvarnir og aðkomu grunnþjónustu sveitarfélaga að velferð fjölskyldna. Gefinn verður gaumur að samningi Sameinuðu þjóðanna um réttindi barnsins sem er 25 ára um þessar mundir. Að lokum er horft til framtíðar út frá tillögu til þingsályktunar um fjölskyldustefnu og aðgerðaáætlun með áherslu á börn á Íslandi, en vinna við mótun hennar hófst um mitt árið 2013 og er nú langt komin.
Ráðstefnan er hluti af viðburðaröð velferðarráðuneytisins á sviði félags- og heilbrigðismálavegna formennsku Íslands í norrænu ráðherranefndinni árið 2014
Ráðstefnan er öllum opin og gjaldfrjáls. Sérstaklega er þó vænst þátttöku fagfólks í málaflokknum, fræðimanna, stjórnenda og annarra sem starfa að stefnumótun í velferðarþjónustu. Fjöldi á ráðstefnunni er takmarkaður og skráning fer fram á http://registration.yourhost.is/forms/fpcw2014/skraning.php

Family policies and child welfare in the Nordic countries
Conference on child and family welfare
September 5. 2014 Nauthóll, Reykjavík.
The conference is part of a programme of events of Iceland's presidency in the Nordic Council of Ministers in 2014. It aims at highlighting the development of family policies in the Nordic countries with the emphasis on Iceland. The main challenges faced by authorities as well as elements that have aimed at improving the welfare of families and children, will be discussed. Among them is the role of basic municipal services for family welfare. At the 25th anniversary of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, the focus will be on future steps and solutions in the Family Policy and Action Plan for Iceland, which is currently under development.
The conference is a part of the programme of events for health and social affairs during the Icelandic Presidency of the Nordic Council of Ministers in 2014.
The conference is open to all with emphasis on professionals, researchers, administrators, politicians and others policy makers in the field. Registration is required at http://registration.yourhost.is/forms/fpcw2014/skraning.php
